What Happens To The Existing Facility?

After the new facility is operational, Harrisburg will discontinue the use of the north two stabilization ponds. The south pond will remain operable for temporary use as an equalization basin. City leaders are investigating alternative uses for the north two ponds. The ponds will remain in place but inactive until all options are considered.
