Rebar Tying

With the base completed and poured, Limoge has begun tying the rebar for the 26 feet high walls of the Operations Building dry/wet well. The exterior walls of the well are two feet thick and the interior walls are 18 inches thick all with two rebar reinforcement mats. Combined between the walls and the base there is over 47 tons (94,000 lbs) of rebar.

PKG has installed the perimeter forms of the Biological Treatment in preparation for tying rebar next week. The base of the Biological Treatment varies from 12 to 18 inches thick and measures 156 feet by 126 feet. The base alone of the Biological Treatment will consist of 92 tons (184,000 lbs) of rebar.
