Jon Brown is President and Principal Engineer for Stockwell Engineers Inc.,
and has over 25 years experience with municipal infrastructure throughout the Midwest.
As designated City Engineer for various communities, Jon has been highly involved in municipal policy and standards that relate to the design and
construction of public works improvement projects throughout the region.
Jon’s expertise includes design and construction of sanitary sewer systems,
storm sewer and drainage conveyance systems, and potable water systems.
In addition to his vast experience with municipal utility projects, Mr. Brown
has a broad background managing all phases of design and construction for
street reconstruction projects, as well as residential and commercial building
projects. His experience includes feasibility planning, cost estimating, project
management, design, construction staking, and construction administration.
Jon has experience in large industrial ethanol site designs that include the
design of rail loop and side tracks, roadway, drainage, storm sewer, sanitary
sewer collection with lift station. The sites generally require off site utilities be
extended to the facility as well as outfall lines to neighboring creeks or streams.
These projects range in cost from 3M – 14M of site costs. Jon’s roll has ranged
from the detailed design of all elements to the project management in the
more recent facilities. The facilities are located in 10 different States in the
Midwest region.
